My father, Thomas Potts, born 1900 and died 1965, was the son of John Dryden Potts (and I believe Elizabeth Gray)who ran a printing firm in North Shields, Northumberland. My father had a brother George who died in 1975. (He continued the business after my grandfather died). George married Norma (?) and they had a son Alan (born around 1950)who I believe is a solicitor in Cumbria. My father also had a sister, Dorothy, who married Reginal McCarthy. They had a son, Reginald, who must be well into his 70's now. Is there anyone reading this conncted to John Dryden Potts. If so I would be delighted to hear from you. |
