Im trying to trace information on my Grandfather Lawrence Power born 1900 his father was James power and mother possible M Power they came over to manchester bradford from waterford in 1900 .. lawrence had 3 siblings Bertha, Emily and Katie .. This is all the info that I have .. fingers crossed someone may know lawrences mothers name.. some family history and if im really lucky family back in waterford !!! ive searched and searched all records i can lay my hands on the UK but not one thing from around 1900 as come up not even on the 1901 census!! |

The Ellen and Mary in those unsourced birth records do match up perfectly with the daughters in the household in the two censuses. -- Oh, I just realized the ones in the censuses are shown as born in Dublin, so that's an excellent match. And how common a name was Lawrence Power -- how many infants with that name and Irish-born parents would there be in Lancashire in 1901?? |
