Member Since: May 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	William John Purvis - born 1901 in the South Shields area. Purvis was probably not his real name as he was adopted by the Purvis family. William Purvis was a dwarf and lived in the South Shields area until the late 1930's when he moved to lodgings in London and married Annie Bentley. William died in 1975 and was my husband's father. We do not know anything about his background. Help!!
