Many thanks for the (very) prompt reply - having only subscribed yesterday I hadn't looked on Search Trees but have done so since.

Janet is a girl I last saw in 1970 and whom I am trying to contact again. I believe she had married (unsuccessfully) around that time and may very well have re-married again since.

Probably a census search for Christopher (Pyrah is not a common name) might have been a better approach than a posting on this Board - but I am still learning.

I see you have now posted on the Living relatives board?

You have been advised to search the trees which you have done... how about friends reunted have you tried there or facebook even?

Census search isnt an option - he wont have been born n 1911, which is the last one that can be veiwed

You may find them on 192.com or ancestry living relatives search but you will need to buy credits I can see a christopher up until 2009
