My Mother's name was Eva Lilian Rabbit.. from Eltham?/Kent (born 09.01.1903) She was the eldest of nine children. Her Mother's name was Catherine (?). I believe she left home, having got involved with my Father, Arthur Johnson, who apparently had left behind a wife and young daughter following a very brief shot-gun marriage: my Mother was not involved in the break-up but was disowned, it seems, by both families anyway. My parents settled in Birmingham, but we never knew either of our parents' families. Rabbit is an unusual name and my sister, Thelma, and myself would be interested to hear from any other family members. Both of our parents are dead now, so we cannot upset them. Anyone out there? |
