He had a brother Harold, who was killed in the 1st world war, I believe a brother Frank, and two sisters, named Florence and Mary. They were brought up at Spurn Point Yorkshire along with other children of the lifeboat crew, who, fathers manned the lifeboat. My father was born around 1903
