I seem to be stuck again lol finding the father of James Dobbie Reid dob 1850 who was Married to Margaret Scott in Stonehouse lanarkshire 1882. |

Can you check your dates........you say John married Jane in 1813...............yet you say he was born in 1811? |

You have all been so quick I cant get my head round it LOL I believe this is the correct family though.Let me see if I can understand LOL. James d reid was born 1850 and they were married in 1882 sorry about the error |

Take your time to study the info................then if you think it's the right John........look on Scotlands people to see if there's a cert for the second marriage. If there is - his parents should be named. |

John Reid, died 4/5/1887 in Larkhall, 1st wife Jane Dobbie, 2nd wife Margaret Weir, his parents were William Reid and Margaret Haddow, the informant was his son William Reid. |

There is an extracted marriage on the IGI of William Reid and Margaret Haddow, they married in Lanark on 16/11/1800, it is also on SP, on the IGI also their are 4 children born to them, none of them being John. |
