I have all but one of my father's family now, the one I am missing and has done a complete disappearing act is Phillip James Rice, born 1888, Ashford, Kent. His first wife died, but they had a daughter called Mabel in 1911. I found Mabel, who sadly died in September last yaer (2005) without every knowing her threec brothers.. Phillip married sometime later to a Gertrude (maiden name unknowm) and had three sons, but I do not know their names. It is possible he changed his name, and it is equally possible he went to Australia in late 40s early 50s. Mabel has never met her brothers, but her daughters and their families would like to meet them, as would other members of the family - their cousins.. Any information and assistance would be appreciated. |
