I am Joanna West nee Sallis, I am trying to trace my late grandfather's family whom I know little about.His family was originally from Tewksbury in Gloucs, his father or grandfather was a toll man on the River Severn.My Grandfather Cyril was brought up in Ladbroke Grove ,London along with at least 11 siblings some of which died young.His father Edwin? was a cabbie and his mother a florist, the sisters names,of which I know are Freda,Florence,Peggy and Dolly,He married Margaret Hall during the early 40'S she came from Fulham.My father is thier son Anthony known as Tony and he has a sister Brenda.For quite a while they lived in the Hemel Hempsted area. Love to hear from Tweksbury Sallis's to fill in the missing gaps. |
