I would like further information on the Sandersons My G Grandmother was Sarah Sanderson. She married Walter White but before this she was married to a Whittington and was always known as Grandma Whittington even to the White family. They seem to be a publican family Sarah who had a daughter Cassandra Higgins and when she married Walter White they had at the satrt of the last century the Miners Rest at Old Town Barnsley. Sarah had a brother known to my dad as uncle Tom Sanderson who had a few pubs one being the Friendship on Redbrook Road. They are the childern of George and Eleanor can you help? |
