Member Since: February 2003 Posts: 7 Send Message	Trying to find my great,great grandfather Michael Saunders (farmer)and his daughter my great grandmother Mary Saunders who was born in Ireland in 1842. She was a stay-maker who in 1867 married John Horne b.1839 a shoe-maker from Bedford.Somehow they ended up living in the Gorton area of Manchester.She gave birth to at least one of her three children-Lewis Horne-in Crumpsall Workhouse in 1877-other sons are Arthur(my grandfather) and Charles Horne.
