Trying to find Sea

My great grandfather, Henry Thomas Sea MAYS, was born 25 Dec 1875 in Kensington, Middlesex. His parents were Robert MAYS, a butler, and Margaret SEA. I have been unable to find them (all three) in any Census 1861-1901 in London. It is likely that they came from another part of England with the family that he (?) worked for. Mays is a very popular name in Norfolk and Suffolk. To our knowledge, my great grandfather was an only child. He became a captain in the Merchant Marines and died aboard his ship in 1941. Margaret became a governess and with her second husband, HOUGHTON, worked in Russia, escaping in 1917 and going to live in Hailsham, SSX with my father and his parents.
