Can some kind person look up for me, the son John, of John Sealey married to Eliza Follows, their son John was born in 1871 and they all lived at no 4 Blakemere Terrace Birmingham. I cannot seem to find the son in any later census. I would be very greatful for any help with this. |

Thank you both for trying, I will see about the imigration lists for that time also of any accidents or perhaps deaths. It is very intriguing. The whole family seems to have vanished. |

Sue, the dates fit John was born in1844, so it does look like Eliza could have re-married or reverted to her maiden name of Follows. I think possible that she re-married it is unusual to revert to your maiden name if you had a child. |

Gosh Sue, you are so good at this, it looks as if you have found her marriage. I think the only way to be sure is to send for her marriage certificate, what do you think? |

She married either Alfred Hughes or William Newbold. |

This could be her, her parents were born in Gloucester. |

If 1881 turns out to be correct (marriage cert will verify) this is Eliza in 1891 widowed again |

Hi Sue, How on earth do you find out all this information so quickly, are you with Ancestry or any other site. I am nearly 70 yrs old and although interested in the family tree it take me a bit longer than most , but I do get there in the end. Thank you so much for all this information and I will follow it through. |
