My 2 x gt grandfather was Robert Seymour, born about 1797. Census info has his birthplace as either West Wycombe (Bucks) or Chalfont St. Peter. His baptism is not shown in either of these registers. He married in 1818 in West Wycombe. Any info about his birth or his parents would be great. Thanks - Sue UPDATE Possible ancestry - Robert SEYMOUR bap 1794 Welford, Berks. Brothers - Joseph b 1780; John b 1783; James b 1787; Benjamin b 1789 (also several sisters) Parents - John (bap 1754 Welford) & Ann SEYMOUR Is this the same Robert? Any info about the Welford SEYMOURs welcomed. Thanks - Sue |
