Without the age of John Edward Jones from the marriage cert and his fathers occupation there is little to no chance of finding him.

Thank you all (Liz 47 and FannybyGaslight) very much for your assistance. I have had a reply privately which looks like their address on the 2008 Electoral Roll, and I have passed it on to the member of the family most concerned.

I have in fact visited Athelstan's grave at Assisi CWGC Cemetery - it is just the present whereabouts of living members that I am/we are trying to find.
