They seem a strange family on the 1901 there is an Elizabeth Price who someone has given a correction to as Elizabeth Wedge, living in a pub in Wellington, supposedly the daughter of the landlord but possibly his stepdaughter and really a Wedge??? |

Ah, thats more like it - looks like a William Shuker is likely the brother of Walter, 10 years younger than him: In 1881 just over the border in Wales:? |

Thank you for all the info I just wondered though if his wife died before he 1903 couldn't he marry again but the one that has Alice Wedge working for them there William could have met her he doesn't need to use middle name for marriage certificate when he is only a witness |

So to sum up, there are quite a number of them in Shropshire who could easily be the bloke you are searching for! If you really want to know which one he is then you should buy that marriage cert to Elizabeth to check for his occupation and for his fathers name and occupation first. Far from being rare, there are dozens of them in the area!! |

Hodnet Market Drayton was where my uncle Joseph came from and he married Ellen so maybe he introduced them |
