Any information wanted on the SPIVEY family who lived in the Northallerton area in 1700's - particularly in the Felixkirk and Kirby Knowle area. Would also like to hear from any descendants of this family. Christopher Spivey was the first headmaster of the National School in Northallerton. His grandson Christopher Spivey b 1830 was landlord of the Carpenters Arms, Felixkirk. Also Joseph Spivey b 1770 in Kirklington who moved to London and lived in the Poplar area - his children were Joseph, Thomas, Phyllis, Samuel, John, Christopher William, Ann, Mary Agnes and Amelia |
