Member Since: June 2003 Posts: 1 Send Message	I understand that Staff is in my families case an anglised form of the Austrian surname Stapf. The origin of this is said to be the family who live on or near the steps.It was changed to Staff during the second war to try to avoid abuse and desrimination.
