William George Stewart was born 1818 bapt 1819 Chelsea, his brother Horatio was bapt 1825 Battersea. Their parents were William Stewart (gentleman) and Mary Ann ,maiden name unknown. William George was a pawnbroker when he married Eliza Baldwin 1840 Clerkenwell,witnesses Fanny Stewart (nothing known) & G Baldwin. Could mean his father was already dead by then. Does anyone have a will naming William George and Horatio as sons,and a Mary Ann as wife ? William George married again 1870 Wimbledon,to Phoebe Harriet Dallinger,he is a gentleman.He died 1881 leaving one son William Horatio born 1871 Wimbledon bapt Walton.Other son Ernest Charles died as infant. |
