I am trying to find some information regarding my great great grandfather, Thomas Sutton. Thomas was a farmer and came from Grittenham, Winterbourne Gunner, Wiltshire. Thomas was married to Susannah Hathway and their son Rowland Tom was my great grandfather. Their other children were as follows -: Richard Hathway Sutton (b. 1855 c ) Frederick James Sutton (b. 1857 c ) Lucy A Sutton (b. 1858 c) Emily Sutton (b. 1859 c) Frank Sutton (b. 1860 c) Rowland (Roland) Tom Sutton (gt grandfather) (b. 1864 c) I have Thomas and his family listed on the 1871 census for Winterbourne Gunner and all being born in Grittenham but when the census was taken in 1881 the family had moved to Grantham in Lincolnshire but there was no sign of their father Thomas. Would anyone be able to help me in finding Thomas please? Many thanks for any help with this. Regards David |
