I have just received a marriage certificate to day dated 10th of December 1848 in the parish church of Rochdale of James Nield born c1824 Saddleworth.

The certificate says his wife was mary Crowther spinster age 20yrs and her Father was a Phineas Crowther occupation a Gardener. James Nield is age 24 a Batchelor occupation a cotton spinner and his Father was a Thomas Nield occupation a Printer,
could anyone please find Thomas on the 1841 census or a marriage for him hope someone can make my chrismas for me any help much appreciated regards marie,

I thought this was the same one but I can't place John born 1833 inless he is James

I don't think it is the right one in the 1861. I think we are probably dealing with two different families.
