His details on the 1901 census read, age 60 (it could possibly be 50)
Born London Soho , Journeyman Bootmaker by trade. Single.
Any help appreciated. Dud.

Can you give some more info on the 1901 as i can't pick him up in either the 1901 or 1891

Yes thats him. On his daughters birth cert he gave the name as JOHNS
The copy of the 1901 census I have is not very clear.

No. He had two daughters but never married the mother. The mother married another chap in 1918 and Henry disappeared.
