Find Ancestors

I cannot find the birth certs. for my 2 great aunts , they are:

Lillie Haynes b.1898 Bethnal Green and
Mable Haynes b.1900 Bow

They are all on the 1901 census but I can't find any birth certs. or death certs. I have tried a variety of mis-spellings , particularly with the surname Haynes , changing the Y to an I ,

I have looked on FreeBMD but don't have an Ancestry subscription , but I have hit a brick wall , any ideas greatly appreciated.

Rosina Gertrude Haynes.1890 Bethnal Green.Ref,1c 261.Maybe possible.Have you checked for marriages if you cant find any deaths in these surnames?

no luck with mabel/mable tho cant see any born in the right time frame as she was 5 months old on the 1901

found it all on Ancestry

The 1891 England census is on Ancestry and on FindMyPast - both are subscription/pay-per-view sites

Perhaps Mabel is her middle name?

Well i,ve updated the census info with addresses and occupations and George is given as a chemical labourer. Now that ties nicely with Belvedere cos there was a big chemical works there. Not sure if it still is but I came from that part of SE London and had realtions working there when i was a kiddy after WW2.

think this is Joseph and his place of birth Bow is incorrect . Mum Was born Bow tho!!

well she was on the1901 census aged 5 months so birth should have been reg. i tried for her bethnal green as well but no luck

I have just had a look at all the stuff I have on the Haynes family an I DID have the 1891 census and can NOW se that Gertrude was born in Belvedere! I don't know why I never saw that and only saw the Place of Birth on the 1901 census.
