Hi Deb.

Yep reminds you about the fairy tale about the little old lady who lived in a shoe, she had soooooooo many children she didnt know what to do ( I think that is it) :-)

Morag and Sarah are the same person. My Aunty Sarah hated her name and asked that everyone call her by the gaelic equivalent Morag.

Thank you so much for once again looking them all up for me. It is great finding everyone.

bye for now
Helen

Also Frances (Fanny) Gildersleeves (b.abt 1870) at the same time. They headed maybe to Perth Western Australia. ( I have also put a request in for census lookup on this site)

Hi Deb ...

Thank you so much for doing that lookup for me - the results are wonderful and fit exactly with what I know!

Margaret Hill was my father's only sibling and I just about remember her (I would have been about 4 when she left the UK).

Thomas Hill means nothing to me (no other siblings and not her father), so don't bother with any further research!

Once again, many thanks for your help.

Penny

Hello Deb,

I wonder if you could help me with a look up please...

It is for my Aunt

Olive Irene Trace, Born 1923. She is listed as sailing from London to Tanzania (Tanganyika), to the port of Dar Es Salaam in 1955.

Would the records show if she travelled with someone else, or married on board?

We know that she died sometime in 1955 early 56, of malaria, and is buried just outside Dar Es Salaam, but haven't found any other details... there is a difference of opinion on whether she married her fiance, and no-one can remember his name, either!

Thank you,

Love

Daff xxx

Hi Deb,

Could you please look up Emma Ramon, born 1893, travelling 1912 from Bristol to Quebec on the Royal Edward. I think there might have been a transcribing error. I think it should be Emma RAMM. Also was she travelling alone?

Thank you for your kind offer.

I dont suppose you can se if an Isaac Sylvester O'Donnell left the UK. We think 1930s. He used both names as well as James for some reason. He came from Ireland but had been to Canada in 1928 before coming back around 1932.

Hi Deb

Thank you for the kind offer.

I realise this may be asking too much of you & I'm sorry if it is.

My father was told as a child that his uncle was in the Canadian Mounties. Could you see if you can find him going to Canada or possibly America?

His name was John Lovely born 1898/9 South Shields.
I don't know when he left the country or if he was alone, sorry.

Thank you in advance if you can help.

This is a long shot, but could you search Sweden to London (if thats available?) for Valdis Krilovs or Valdis Swensson, he was my grandad. No-one knows a thing about him, but he came over in 1946...returned to Sweden, then came back before 1956. He was born a Krilovs, but made to take on his stepfathers name, after his mother was widdowed. He then changed it back but I dont know when.
