You said that you had Walter & Edith's marriage certificate so hopefully you have their fathers names to check against Ediths birth... |

Julie, on marriage certf states John Carter Baker - occupation : Farmer (though name was originally entered as James Carter Baker and bears a registration notation at the side the change to John) Edith's death certificate shows just John of Independant means. Edith's age in 1905 - 28 which makes dob c1877 age at death in 1948 - 73yrs which makes dob c 1875. Could not find a definate family on 1881 census either . It is a shame death certificate did not list her actual birthday, just noticed another difference death cert says she was 29 when married which would change date to 1876.( all too confusing ) date of birth between 1875 - 1877. |
