He had brothers and sisters ... some names are Charles, William and Lilian, possibly Dorothy.

I think he worked on canal barges at one time in the north of England.

Now I wonder if you could go back to Matilda Jacobs family and give me some information on where she came from .... I think George was her father and lived with the family. Was she an only child ... who was her Mum .... etc.

I think the birth date of William T. must be more like 1853 because in 1901 he had a 13 year old son.

Not sure where the Townsend man comes in unless he was visiting when the census was taken .... ?

I will have to get certificates and check for parents names etc.

It would seem the Stambury's were lodgers? Think Dotherotty must be Dorothy don't you. Also Sarah Heard....must be a lodger or visitor.

Looking at the 1841 - which is very faint - John is a Labourer. I think the Stambury's are actually the next door household and I can't tell if Sarah Heard is supposed to be included either.
