ok. I may have a little puzzle to work out. Joseph Nolan was born on 10/05/1924 he was my husbands father. The only information I have on him comes from his 76 year old wife. Should just be a simple birth search, but NOT. |

So does that mean that Peter Nolan was married previously to someone called boardman? Interesting. Thank you Reggie for the extra information. That proves there was a marriage at least to work on. Im still puzzled, where does boardman come into it....... |

It does mean however that your husbands father *may* have had a mother contrary to whom he thought it was?.... |

Interesting....If he indeed did have another mother, what on earth happened. I would dearly love to know, but if the family never knew, there is no one to ask..... |

Oh Reggie, that would be a crying shame, if she married in the spring and then lost her husband.... |

Ok just come off the phone to my Mother in Law. She has indeed confirmed that Emma was married twice, and there was the three children between the two marriages. Joseph, peter and half sister mary. It has taken a lot of prompting, because she knew little of her husbands family, they were not very close, So Thank you very much for all of your help, I have managed to add the information to my tree. |
