I have found a Marriage entry for John Barnard 1858 Sept qrt 4b 273
Norwich, in Free BMD, but on checking for the same Number Entry for his wife, it is missing !!
,Now I do know his wife name is Mary ?
Can anyone help ? Please.

Hi all,
In the 1871 census Mary Barnard b1841 Norfolk
states she is a lodger .she has a son William Barnard b1862. Her Husband is missing in this census
On William's marriage cert states his father name is John , so the only John marriage I found in Norwich was in1858 Sept. Does this make any sense or make it clearer to anyone !!

Have you found william's birth entry and/or have you the birth certificate?

William's birth certificate should tell you if Barnard was her married name or birth name.
