williams first wife did die 1872 her maiden name was cox. my gr gr grand father married lucy lucas manship. but i have come to the conclusion that they never married , but had a least 7 children with her, she was 24 years younger then he was.
would her death be under manship or lucas?i have not found that yet

On the 1881 census there is a Florence Lucas aged 4 I reckon this is Ann's daughter before she married William ....then there is a Reuben aged 1 maybe this is ann's son with William..

did not help that i cannot find the marraige for her thou. 1881 census says she was married to william manship.and she had a few children by him.
do you have access to 1901 census?
if so could you look a couple more for me please,
there was a william manship born abt 1866 /67 wife sarah a leicestershire and also his brother
