I agree Dea, 46 seems more plausible for her age.

Yes we did all this the other night but it doesnt find her before marriage!

I think it calls for somerset records

The Igi references are submitted and not extracted .

Bear in mind that the 1851 looks to be wrongly transcribed on her age - they have her as 66 - It looks like 46 to me.

Hi Lindsey
I got the surname Bracker as it was given as her maiden name on her son Henry's Birth Cert. 16 Aug. 1837.

Can you tell where you got the name Bracker from as it doesnt seem to turn up as family name ?

Narcissa Bracher or Bracker was born in about 1806, probably in Stourton, but I have been unable to find the registration of her birth or her parents names. I know she married my ggg g/f Thomas Bishop although I have found no record of their marriage either. They lived in Kilmington, Somerset and had approx. 8 children (including my gg g/f Alfred Bishop, who was baptised in 1832). I have found them on the 1841 census, but If anyone has any information about her early years I should be most grateful.
