Derby Record Office - anyone going?

If anyone is going to Derby Record Office and has 10 minutes to give to someone else, I would appreciate some help.

I believe there is a baptism entry in the registers of Holy Trinity Church, dated November 21st 1851, for the baptism of Selina Lloyd (or Moore), mother Louisa Lloyd, factory worker of Hope Street Derby, father John Moore blacksmith of Nottingham.

However, this information has come from a source which does not look to me to be entirely reliable (20+ years research - never bought a certificate) and it would help if someone could check if this entry is there and if it is, transcribe it for me.

Selina has proved very elusive and this is the first lead of any sort for 20 years! She married John Noble at St Werburgh's on Christmas Eve 1868 and is documented from then on.

Thanks in anticipation.

Brilliant - thanks - that coincides with what I have been told - let's hope whoever transcribed it for the IGI did an accurate job!

Hello Kevin,

You have replied to an old post here and it may be that Sheila is not checking for replies anymore.

You can try clicking on her name and sending your message that way. If she still has the same email address she will be notified.

If you are looking for connections on this site, then try putting the names you are researching into the Search Trees box above (in dark green box) to see if anyone else has them in their tree. If you find a connection, you can contact the tree owner.

If you would like help in your research, then why not start a thread of your own? Take a look at the first thread on this board for further advice. Regards. Cx.
