Good Morning I was wondering why a birth record does not show in the County Archives for 1813 I have been touch with the Essex records to see if they can see a birth or baptisim for a Susan Smith born 1812-1815 in Wethersfield Essex and although they found her marraige could find nothing on her birth. Wonder where else I could look for it thank you |

sometimes families had one big christening for all their chilldren so she may have been baptised a long time after her birth. with her younger siblings |

Or she may have been christened somewhere else. Sometimes mum's went to their parents' home for the birth of their children. |

There is also a small possibility that she was never baptised. |
