trying to find Gr grandfather's family

John Francis Vaughan my grandfather was b.Jan.5,1886 and I believe in the London area. His fathers name was William. John was sent to Canada in mid to late 1890's or early 1900's and as I understand so were other siblings. As I understand a place called DR. Bernardos was connected to them comming to Canada. Don't know his mothers name as he himself could not recall. Would love to find out anything on this side of my family. Any help from any and all sources would be greatly appreciated.

...if the birth date is accurate, the birth would be registered in the March quarter of 1886 and there is a John Vaughan registered in Holborn, which is London....but no middle name Francis.

There is a John Vaughan with parents William and Eliza in Stepney in 1891 RG 12/278
William 48 wool carder b Bethnal Green
Eliza 47 also B/G
Eliza d 23 fancy hose maker
Rebecca 21 ditto
Elizabeth 18 ditto
Maria 10 scholar
Wi;;iam 16 cabinet maker's appentice
Joseph 7 scholar
John 6
ditto
102 Buxton Street Stepney /Whitechapel
all children born Mile End/Whitechapel
John Reg AMJ 1886 1c/528
they weren't always too promt when it came to registering.

PS ,just google dr Barnardos,there is a lot of info about the children who went to Canada,inc contact associations. Eileen
