Here is her marriage.

Robert Dalby married Mercia Meynell OND quarter 1927 Belper volume 7b page 1635.

The marriage cert might help.

Rosamond H Dalby birth registered OND 1928 Belper 7b 769 mothers maiden name Meynell.

Did not find Vaila.

This is the only Mercia born during 1907 in Derbyshire that I could find.

Sorry, I haven't found her birth it was her death that I got her DOB from. The only thing I can think is that for some reason she was given her mothers maiden name possibly at birth

Yes I found her birth, but unforntunatley it doesnt show her mothers maiden name and as I am new to all this I am now stuck, I believe her father was Godffrey Meynell, born 1871 but I cannot guarantee this

I am trying to find any info on Mercia Meynell born 27/05/1907 in derbyshire I believe she is from the family who to this day live at Meynell Langley, Derbyshire. I know she married a man whos surname was Dalby but this is all the info I have on him. They had two daughters, Vaila and Rosmond and possibly a son. I think a branch of the Dalby family live in Castle Donnington, Derbyshire. Any one with any info forward or back please help.
