It might be easier to start by finding George's birth/baptism in 1856, which would name both parents, and cross-check with the 1861 census. |

I have the marriage cert of my gr grandparents, George Welland and Margaret Monaghan, married Dec 24 1876, both aged 20, married St James Westminster. George was born 1856 in Plymouth. On the marriage certificate his father is also George Welland proffession Sailor. Can anyone help me with information on George Welland (father) that is all the information I have on him. I do not know his birth or wifes name, |
