I have managed to trace my tree back to the 1600's but need to double check stuff before I add it to my tree - i will then gladly give access to my tree to anyone who thinks that they may have a link.

Emma, there was nothing for Ockham, Cobham or Wisley. I had checked all of the place names on your first list. There are some for Wonersh and Dorking. Are you interested in those?

Lol - I have a pre 1837 map so that I can see how far they have travelled over the years - not far lol!!

I am also trying to link the following:

Was the Richard who married Sarah ( I think it was Sarah Turrell m 18/4/1826 at leatherhead Surrey - I have all their children ) the Richard who was born to parents James and Sarah and chr in Newdigate 24/12/1797? I think that if he was he had a brother Alan who married Elizabeth ( have all their offspring too!!!)
