Hello again Glitter Baby,Thanks for looking, Marriage certificate for Thomas William Vaughan and Mary Marten says he is 27 and she is 21. His father is down as Thomas Vaughan deceased. From later censuses (is this the plural?) it would appear he was born in 1851 so maybe a typo on the copy i got, and place of birth is west Malling, Kent but we can find nothing there at all. He also uses Thomas John at various times. One possibility passed down is the parents came from gloucester and the father was known as William. needle in a haystack? |
