Andrea, I think the one you just found is from Preston and , as there is an 1891 census for her as opposed to the one you have above for your Mary J., they are two different people. |

just found mary j cook from the 1891 census on the earlier 1881 census with mother sophie cook age 31 but no james still. how wierd this family is lol. |

There's another Lackinson Cook on the 81 census. Must be related, surely, with such an unusual name? He was born 1845, Blackburn. |

The original looks like Lackinson. The L is exactly like the one in Lancashire, unless the county is Tancashire! |
