can anyone help find a marriage or birth certificates for Jack or John Rice or Price and Florence Williams.He came from Princetown Devon they married in Peter Tavy near Tavistock.All i know is that they had a daughter in 1918 so i pressume they married before 1918. thanks pam

her name is ivy marguereta rice born 1918 tavistock devon. the reason im saying it could be price is that ivys daughter valerie florence 1945 is named as price on the birth record i looked up .

her name was Rice then she married Douglas Clemence Say and her mothers maiden name Williams

as far as i know they were born in Tavistock appart from Douglas he was Chippenham. So not Totnes or Devonport.

Pamela, have you got any certs at all for Ivy? Have you got her marriage cert or her daughter's birth cert?

I can't find any of these people, so somewhere the story you've been given, or know of, is muddled.
