Edward Pearcey is on the 1901 census with wife Charlotte, both born circa 1840 and living in West Ham. Edward is born in Camberwell Surrey and is a Cooper, Charlotte is from Bromley by Bow/Poplar area (maiden name thought to be Everett). I would love to see if there are any earlier census results for this family with details of their children (I am particularly interested in Ann Matilda Pearcey born Poplar, 1864) or possible parents for Edward. |

Aha!!! Thanks very much Couldbe, wonder where those Pollards fit in? (and another toyboy as well in the tree!). Do you have the place of birth for any of these please? |

Umm, and now I can't actually find any probable marriages for Caroline even though she appears ot have at least 3! I will have another go with varieties of spellings. |

Thanks Couldbe, I think we may be coming to a certs stage, having trouble with the 3 marriages as well and beginning to think at least one might not actually happen, need the dad's records for those as well. |

Thanks Christina, yes that would certainly fit, Charles is even a Cooper, the same as Edward was to be later in life and it would make sense where they were living as this is the area Edward married. |
