Trying to find mother and father of William Kettle born October 1871. His father was called Edward and his mother called Mary Ann Kettle nee Kettle this was the information on William's birth certificate. I cannot find their marriage certificate to find out their ages. William was born in Spittlegate, Grantham. I have no idea where to look next I keep coming up to a brick wall. William is my Grandfather |

I have this marriage certificate, but as I am looking for a Mary Ann Kettle, I do not think this is the right one. Unless she was called Susan Mary Ann or Mary Ann Susan. Do you think this is one of the same person |

Are you 100% sure of your grandfather's birthdate and that he didn't have a middle name? |

Lindsey I am confused, Could Edward and Mary Ann be brother and sister. Then they had a son and he was called William after Edward's father. |

Lindsey, The census information could be what I am looking for. I have a marriage certificate for Edward Kettle and Susan Kettle. The father of Edward is William Kettle. |
