I have been conducting a one-name study into the VOYSEY name and its major varients. I have a great deal of data and would be pleased to hear from anyone with a view to sharing information to help build the family tree.

Hi Chris,

since other people have no way of knowing how you think and might not perceive a connection between their name-set and Voysey, would it not help to post a list of what you think the name variants are?

The four main varients are as in the reply posted by kendo. A number of other varients exist but are much less common, details of which can be found on the one-name site at www.voysey.org.uk

VOYSEY - I don't know if I have contacted you before but my g (or gg) grandma was a Voysey. The family originated in Devon and included Zachariah Voysey. Contact me if you want to look at my info.
