	Do you have the marriage certificate for her and Thomas Winter? It should say what her marital status was, and if she was a widow, what her birth surname was. It will also state her father's name. Hopefully. ;)

Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 7 Send Message	I am trying to find Mary Satchwill, born 1821 in Devon, who married my great great grandad. Thomas Winter. They married in 1859 but had already had two children. Alice was born in 1856 and Edith in 1859. In 1846 she had a daughter Elllen Francis Ley and in 1851 she was a widow. Also she had a son called William Vaughan Muirhead in 1853. He was born in Hercules Buildings in Lambeth. I am trying so hard to get her life in order of events and would love to find out more about Mr Ley and Willliam Muirhead (named as father on birth certificate of William Vaughan Muirhead). I hope someone can help.
