Is it me doing something very wrong or did my family never exist at all. I am tracing my grandads side of the family, I have found a few bits and peices but people either disappear from the records or are never there in the first place but they are my great great grandparents so they have to be somewhere. I am looking for Charles and Joseph Gill who may have been brothers, their father was Charles and possibly married to a Margaret. Charles (jnr)had a son called Harry and another called Tom, and Joseph had a daughter called Amelia Jane, St Pancras and Long Stratton, Stratton St Mary figure a lot in this part of the family. Any help very much appreciated. |

yes yes yes this is them, Harry and Amelia were cousins, their son Charles Richard was my grandad,I wonder how Tom and Harry ended up in the Watford Workhouse, thank you all so much, but I could use the backwards from Harry and Amelia Jane, Amelia's mum may have been Harriet Steggles but I have never been able to trace her I dont have any dates further back than Harry b 1860 and Amelia b 1855. You people are goddess sent. |
