Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 7 Send Message	I am trying to find information on my uncle Thomas Arthur Vaughan who was born in Penarth, Glamorgan on 31/5/1904 and died in the Manchester area on 31/5/1973. He married Phyllis Carter in India on 19/5/1939 which makes me think he may have been a career soldier. This marriage was disolved in 1962 but he remarried Phyllis in 1964 in Salford. I would like to know when he joined the forces and when he left and if he had any children. Any help would be appreciated as I seem to have come up against a brick wall. Thanks Margaret

Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 5 276 Send Message	To find any possible children you have to search every qtr for each year after the marriage. This can only be done on a subsription site, ie Ancestry or Findmypast As he married in India children could also have been born there. Christine
