My advice on this one... is to note down the marriages and possible partners, so for a male Kidwell the other 2 females are possible brides etc. Then translate this data to the census, find the male, then you will know the wife.... thats the first bit done, but you need to also note the birth details of the 'Kidwell' person you are investigating. Then go back 1 census, can you find them? ...and who are they living with? This is the only way you will find siblings etc. Create a list of names and dates of the people you are looking at from one census year. Once you go back a year you can tie in the families together, you might need to go one step further back.... as Cousins share common Grandparents, you may find for instance John Kidwell & George Kidwell with wives in 1891, then one and his family in 1881, but the other kidwell person isn't there, but with another Kidwell family.... you will have to go back to 1871 and see if the fathers of said Kidwells (or mothers) were siblings.... make the 2 you were investigating Cousins..... It sounds longer winded than it is in practice!!! Tracey x

However I also found a George, John and Ann Kidwell all married in June qtr of 1872 from Barnstable. Is this normal? Dou you think that this was his brothers/sister??
