Hi Alan, How did you get on with your research with the Staffordshire Regiment.

I have done my own research Frank William Alcock (Cheslyn Hay) my grandads father was awarded the MM in the Somme, and my Grandfather Bert Alcock served with 7 btn south Staffords and fought in Normandy

Google for the regimental museum. I doubt whether they'd have a photo, though, but worth a try.

does anyone know how i can contact the staffordshire regiment please,i'm desperatley trying to get a photograph of my grandfather ,for my mother who is 84,we have no photos of her father,adn i would love to find one of him in uniform,hope someone out there can help,,,thanks ,alan alcock
