No it isn't cheap but without them sometimes the best guess is wrong, lol.

There are too many Elizabeth Richards to check in 1841 without a father's name and age as a guide.

Maybe Elizabeth married again but doesn't explain why we can't find him in 1851 if his father had died that qtr.

Oooh Christine that look really promising. I know that my Thomas' parents were Thomas & Elizabeth (nee Richards) - one of those you have found. But I hadnt found the other information that you have provided which looks good - another cert or 2 to be ordered me thinks!!

The baptism found shows his parents as Thomas and Elizabeth but the birthcert would give you his mother's maiden name.

There is this death registered in Solihull, possibly his father.

Really sorry everybody - I was desperate to make sure I had the information required!!!! How could I possibly have not included 1844!!!
