I'm trying to connect a Frederick Noble Fisher born c1915. He's a bit of a mystery as he never married his 'wife' and deserted his young family in Queensland Australia in the mid 1940's. It's very possible that he was an Englishman.

Looking at the above family shows too many coincidences for him not to be connected in some way. The name 'Noble' is very unusual and our Frederick Noble named his eldest son Leslie. Also a daughter Grace.

Although this Noble and wife Helen were too old to have been Frederick Nobles parents, they may well have been his grandparents.

Anything you can find would be very helpful.

Oh Rose. That's got to be his lot. Frederick Noble named his youngest son, my father-in-law Edward. Does it say which part of Queensland? He was last seen in Mt Isa.

Hi Kath,

Wow. This is getting exciting. I only wish I had a marriage cert for our Frederick Noble. I can't trace backards in the usual manner. It's believed he was born c1915 but we have no way of clarifying that. We've had to assume he was roughly the same age as his 'wife'. He could have been older, but how much?

It's believed he was English but again, it's only what the family remember hearing.

I don't think the birth I found was for your man (but maybe one of his ancestors) as if he was born that early I doubt he would be leaving his wife in the 1940's.
