Hello...

Since we last spoke I have done some research on 'Phoebe'. Her name was Phoebe Sophia Rogers born in Ladderedge, Leek, 1843.

She had 5 children of the names: Hezekiah, Esther, Daniel, Ruth and Rachael. These are the children of a Joseph Turner however, I'm not sure yet if this is my relative Joseph Turner.

They all lived at 5 Sparrow Street, Smallthorne

I have found them on family search as being married. How do I find out now if this is the first marriage for Joseph and in fact Elizabeth was his partner?

Where do I go from now? I'm confused!

You need to puchase some birth and marriage certificates.

It is an expensive 'hobby' but certificates are the only way to sort things out.
